Are you a person who ENJOYS helping others?
Then you should become a New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA). This certification affords you the opportunity to select what you enjoy doing most, as your choice of employment.
CHHAs support members of our community within their homes with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which allows for them to remain in their homes. This is opposed to having them move into a Long Term Healthcare Facility or Nursing Home.
CHHAs provide assistance to the elderly, disabled, handicapped or persons who may be recovering from a surgery or an injury. Adults and Children benefit from these services which include assistance with: personal care, meal preparation & feeding, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, running errands, accompanying on outings and/or appointments.
Work hours are usually flexible to accomodate both the CHHA and Client.
"These are some of the main functions that allows a person of need, to remain living in their home"
